This is a World War II United States Navy Department photo identification badge numbered 5895The badge has two grommets for wear around the neck via a cord (not included). The reverse of the badge reads IF FOUND, RETURN TO PROVOST MARSHAL, NAVY BUILDING, WASHINGTON D.C. among other information.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 1-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid, paper insert, photograph, plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two grommets for hanging (cord not included).
