ARTIFACT: This is a World War II clerk's photo identification badge from the United States Maritime Commission. The badge belonged to an audit clerk named Jane E. Van Der Schuur.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 2-5/8" in width; chain is about 4-3/4" in length (total).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, paper, plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Chain.

MARKINGS: X663.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows only some light yellowing and slight warping.
