This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army 78th Infantry Division, also known as "Lightning". The patch is semi-circular and shows a diagonal lightning bolt against a field of red.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 3-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
