This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army 45th Infantry Division, also known as "Thunderbird". The patch is diamond-shaped and shows a golden Phoenix-like bird against a field of red.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 3-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
