Late WWII US Army 25th Infantry Division (aka Tropic Lightning) Patch-Type DI

This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States 25th Infantry Division, also known as "Tropic Lightning". The insignia is a lightning bolt at the center of a taro leaf, foliage native to Hawaii.

Circa late World War II.

Approximately 1" in height and 5/8" in width.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
