This is a World War II United States Army 40th Infantry Division (aka "Sunshine") shoulder patch. The patch is diamond-shaped and shows a blazing sun against a field of royal blue.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" square.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
