ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army 40th Infantry Division (aka "Sunshine Division") shoulder patch with an olive drab border. The patch is diamond-shaped and shows a blazing sun against a field of royal blue.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-11/16" in height and 3-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered patch in silk/cotton threads.
