Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army distinctive insignia for the 326th Glider Infantry Regiment. The DI reads ASPERA JUVANT (Difficult Delight) and shows a boar's head above two fleur-de-lis.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height and 1" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch (swivel part was bent).

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX10 LBIEX2/11 SBIE-GCX5/13

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia shows hardly any wear but the swivel part of the catch has been bent (pin still will catch).
