This is a World War II United States Army distinctive insignia for the 326th Glider Infantry Regiment. The DI reads ASPERA JUVANT (Difficult Delight) and shows a boar's head above two fleur-de-lis.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch (swivel part was bent).

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia shows hardly any wear but the swivel part of the catch has been bent (pin still will catch).
