WWII US Army 2nd Field Artillery Regiment DI by Gemsco

This is a World War II distinctive insignia for the United States 2nd Field Artillery Regiment by Gemsco. The DI is a mule bearing a field piece (small cannon) on its back and reads THE SECOND FIRST.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height 1-1/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

Gemsco maker mark.

This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months R/EJ94 LBDX11/11

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some very light wear and minor tarnish only on the reverse, with wear around the pin.
