ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s – World War II distinctive insignia for the United States 102nd Field Artillery Regiment. The DI shows a blue and gold chevron separating a fleur-de-lis from two towers and reads SIC ITUR AD ASTRA (this is the way to the stars).

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s – World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months R/AM92 LBDX10/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows only some light wear and tarnish and has a spot of discoloration on the reverse.
