This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States 102nd Field Artillery Regiment by Robbins. The DI shows a blue and gold chevron separating a fleur-de-lis from two towers and reads SIC ITUR AD ASTRA (this is the way to the stars).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows only some light wear and tarnish with a spot of minor discoloration to the enamel.
