1930s US Army 172nd Field Artillery Regiment DI by Robbins

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States 172nd Field Artillery Regiment by Robbins. The DI shows a saltier (diagonal cross) in its upper left-hand corner, and it separates a cactus and a fleur-de-lis. The DI reads LOAD WITH CANISTER.

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height 15/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO and handwriting in marker on reverse.

7+ (Very Fine+): The DI has some light abrasions and tarnish and writing on reverse.
