ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s distinctive insignia by Robbins for the United States Army 211th Coast Artillery Regiment, originally part of the First Corps of Cadets (Massachusetts National Guard) and later an antiaircraft artillery regiment assigned to the Coast Artillery. The DI is a crest with a six-pointed star, a cross, a pine tree.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization teeth (one slightly bent).

MARKINGS: ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LCBX12/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light wear and has a handsome tarnish.
