This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 211th Coast Artillery Regiment, originally part of the First Corps of Cadets (Massachusetts National Guard) and later an antiaircraft artillery regiment assigned to the Coast Artillery. The DI is a crest with a six-pointed star, a cross, a pine tree.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization teeth.
MARKINGS:None.
