Description
This is a World War II United Service Organizations (USO) worker badge. The USO was formed in 1941 by the Roosevelt Administration to provide recreational activities and morale in general to troops. The worker's name is typewritten on the badge: Edith Fairchild.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed paper, clear celluloid, metal pin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
