This is a World War II United Service Organizations (USO) Junior Hostess badge. The USO was formed in 1941 by the Roosevelt Administration to provide recreational activities and morale in general to troops. The hostess' name is written on the badge in cursive: Aliz.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed paper, clear celluloid, metal pin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety pin.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Badge is in nice shape but the paper insert has a crease down the middle.
