ARTIFACT:
This is a scarce original 1946 printing of the World War II USAAF 384th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force unit history entitled "As Briefed" by Walter E. Owens. The book is accompanied by thirteen WWII period photographs showing shots of 384th aircraft, bomb missions and more. The photos were all passed by a censor and have a UK Air Ministry stamps on reverse. The book shows a photo on page 169 which is one of the actual photos that come with the book. There is a list of medal and decoration recipients, a summary of AAF Station 106 and a chart of group statistics at the back of the book.

210 pages, approximately 11" in height and 8-1/2" in width.
