ARTIFACT: This is a paperback World War II unit history of the United States Army 65th Infantry Division entitled: "Right to be Proud: History of the 65th Division's March Across Germany". The 65th, also known as "Battleaxe", marched 583 miles across Germany, with well over half of the sixty days the march took spent in combat. This small booklet was written by Sgt. Bill Jordy, and was printed in Austria in 1945. Attached to the last page is a large fold-out campaign map.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945 (just after World War II).

SIZE: 35 pages with black-and-white photographs and illustrations, plus fold-out map; approximately 6-1/2" in height and 4-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding (there is some spine deterioration).

MARKINGS: Printed by Buch-und Steindruckerei J. Wimmer Linz-Upper-Austria 1945.

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The book is fragile and yellowed and has some spine deterioration.
