This book is full of action photographs: the first photo showing twin missiles is an image of one of the first daylight raids carried out by the USAAF against U-boat bases on French soil, this one just off of Ile-St.-Michel in France. (info credited to uboatarchive.net). The last two pages show some cool shots of nose art. This was published at His Majesty's Stationery Office at London.

VINTAGE: Published 1944.

SIZE: 119 pages plus 2 pages of nose art; approximately 9" in height and 7-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Card stock cover, newsprint paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: (British Edition) LONDON: HIS MAJESTY'S STATIONERY OFFICE 1944.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces' unit history collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX97 LFEX9/13
