ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army Air Forces book entitled "XV FC: One Year Escort". This World War II unit history is about the XV Fighter Command (Provisional), Italy, under the command of General Dean Coldwell Strother, Silver Star recipient. It was published in Italy in 1945. It has ten short chapters on the 15th's important role in Italy, Germany and Russia.

VINTAGE: Published 1945.

SIZE: 41 pages including photographs and illustrations. Approximately 8"e; in height and 10-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding (one staple is still present but pages are loose).

MARKINGS: REPRODUCED BY 941ST ENGR BN on back cover.
