ARTIFACT:

This is an English-made patch for the United States Army Air Forces 325th Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. The original owner of this patch showing a caveman charging upon a tiger was First Officer Warren Tritt, co-pilot.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

4-15/16" diameter (with two slight bump-outs for tiger's paws).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brushed felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with muslin backing.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): Patch has a few very small moth holes and spots of wear near edge.
