ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful English-made WWII 325th Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb Group, 8th Air Force Jacket Patch. Nicknamed the "Alley Oops", each squadron of the group had the famous cartoon character riding a different prehistoric creature, this one being a sabre tooth tiger.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 5" in height X 5-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, silk/cotton/ thread, treated cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBFJM11/22 LGIEX11/06/22 SGIEX12/15/22

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): Patch shows minor to moderate wear, light soiling overall, a few small moth nips, removed from flight jacket.
