ARTIFACT: This is a submarine model of the USS Cod SS 224 named to Lieutenant T. C. Hurst III. The ship is mounted on a wooden base with a plaque bearing Hurst's name. The boat has small details including artillery on deck.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-7/8" height and 9-5/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, wood with felted bottom.
