WWII Submarine Launch Tag for the USS Aspro SS-309

This is a World War II launching tag for the USS Aspro SS-30The ship was launched from Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard on April 7, 1943 and won seven battle stars in her seven World War II war patrols.

Circa 1943.

Approximately 2-1/16 in height (excluding 3-5/8" of string) and 1-3/4" in width.

Foiled card stock with silk string.

Punched hole with string.
