ARTIFACT: This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Sea Poacher SS-406, launched on May 1944 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. Sea Poacher was awarded four battle stars for World War II service.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944.

SIZE: About 1-3/4 in width by 2-1/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Foiled card stock.

ATTACHMENT: Silk string.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): This tag shows some minor wear, and the tag you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition.
