WWII Submarine Launch Tag for the USS Conger SS-477

This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Conger (SS-477). The Conger was launched on October 17, 1944 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard and saw the end of World War II from Pacific waters. She was reclassified to AGSS-477 shortly before her retirement from service in 1964.

About 1-3/4 in width by 2-1/8" in height.
