This is a World War II Royal Air Force (RAF) pilot wing. The wing is flat (unpadded) for war or battle dress. The wreath beneath the "RAF" and crown is in brown embroidery.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 4-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in silk/cotton threads, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
