This is a nice early World War II Royal Air Force pilot dress wing. Two rust colored laurel branches frame the letters RAF at the center of the padded wing and there is a crown above.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 4-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, muslin backing, cotton batting.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:Some writing on reverse.
