This is an early World War II Royal Air Force dress pilot wing. The wing shows a royal crown at top and a wreathed "RAF" flanked by wings.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:1-5/8" height and 4-7/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with a burlap backing, cotton batting.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:Handwriting on reverse.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Great Britain wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEEX06 LAEJX 6/10
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Wing shows light wear, mostly on reverse.
