WWII Japanese soldier identification tag in stamped brass. Obverse reads: Infantry 12th Regiment, 2nd Company, third line is a serial number relating to the regiment and the enlisted man issued these tags was serial number 1The reverse of the tag reads: 5315 Regiment, 4th Company, Reserved Soldier 64, serial number 285.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII
SIZE:Approximately 1 ¾" x 1 ¼"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped brass and cotton rope.
ATTACHMENT:Cotton rope.
MARKINGS:Japanese characters.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Japanese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-EDK-25-15 LADEX2/15 SABEX3/15
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Tag shows wear with spots of tarnish, overall nice patina.
