Description
WWII Japanese Army Enlisted Man's "Soldier Book" and brass dog tag of Mr. Hiramatsu of the 41st Infantry Regiment, Meigi Sanjo 3The book is covered with treated canvas and the front has a side flap opening with a tab closure. The inside of the book is pages of rice paper bound by two staples and the underside of the flap shows kanji in red painted detail. Many of the pages have Japanese kanji and a few remain empty, the writing is in red and black ink. The book features a small pocket that contains a brass Japanese dog tag and a piece of rice paper with kanji in red and black ink.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The book shows mild to moderate wear, nearly all the pages are intact and appear to be free of creases, bends, and tears. The ink remains readable with little bleeding, the tag is in nice condition as is the rice paper insert.
