This is a World War II shoulder patch with a green back and border for the United States Army 2nd Cavalry Division, also known as the Buffalo Soldiers. The patch is a gold crest with two blue eight-pointed stars above a single blue chevron. Green back, Olive Drab Backed, O/D Back, OD Back, Greenback.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/8" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
