This is a World War II civilian woman worker's identification badge for Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Fort Monmouth was the United States Army installation from which Julius Rosenberg passed on secret plans to the Soviets. The badge is in orange celluloid and pictures Worker #17979.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
