This is a World War II Curtiss-Wright Production Soldier lapel stud. Curtiss-Wright began in 1929 when Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company of Buffalo, New York, and Wright Aeronautical of Dayton, Ohio merged. The stud is a petite wing in plastic.
Circa World War II.
Approximately 9/16 in height and 1-1/8 in width.
The stud you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay(2) VBX11 LCHX12/11
8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The stud shows only some light wear on the wing tips.
As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
