This is a scarce World War II Curtiss-Wright "Production Soldier" lapel stud. Curtiss-Wright began in 1929 when Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company of Buffalo, New York, and Wright Aeronautical of Dayton, Ohio merged. The petite wing has a V for victory at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plastic.
ATTACHMENT:Lapel stud.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The stud shows some light wear with moderate discoloration to the reverse only.
