ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Chinese Order of the Resplendent Banner 6th Class badge. Also known as the Order of Clouds and Banner, this award has nine ranks and dates from 1935. It is awarded for positive national security-related actions. The badge is numbered on reverse and shows an enameled yellow flag at the center of a starburst. There is a rosette on the red, white and blue striped ribbon.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-5/8" height and 2-1/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and enameled silver, silk.

ATTACHMENT: Safety pin, ribbon, suspension ring.

MARKINGS: Chinese characters and 2910.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some slight, limited crazing to the enamel at the star points and shows little wear otherwise.
