ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II formation patch for the British 7th Armored Brigade. The 7th had a green jerboa (North African rodent) as a mascot and so was also known by the nicknames "Green Rats" and "Jungle Rats". The patch has a great embroidered green rat at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in width and 2-1/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk thread, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
