This is a 490th Bomb Squadron, 341st Bomb Group, 10th Air Force jacket patch and a salty chit from the same vet. The patch shows a skull atop a pilot wing.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Patch: about 4-3/4"e; in diameter; chit: about 11-7/8"e; wide by 7-5/8"e; high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Multi-piece leather, cotton.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto clothing.
MARKINGS:None.
