This is a World War I US double-star "Son-in-Service" pin, given to mothers whose sons were serving in the war.
VINTAGE:Circa 1917-1918.
SIZE:1/2" in width by 1/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:14 karat gold with red, white, blue and black enamel detail.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post.
MARKINGS:14K.
