WWI US "Son-In-Service" Pin in 14K Gold

This is a World War I US double-star "Son-in-Service" pin, given to mothers whose sons were serving in the war.

Circa 1917-1918.

1/2" in width by 1/4" in height.

14 karat gold with red, white, blue and black enamel detail.

Single screw post.
