This is a World War I US Air Service Sweetheart or lapel pin.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:About 5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:14 karat gold with red, white, blue and black enamel detail.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post.
MARKINGS:An unidentifiable maker's mark followed by 14K.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large Home Front collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Very minor wear to gold and enamel.
