This is a United States trench siren whistle from World War I. The whistle body is at the end of a chain, has classic lines and the holes at its base resemble a cut-out daisy pattern.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 18-1/4" in length and 1" in diameter (body of whistle).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Lacquered brass.
ATTACHMENT:Hook and suspension loop at either end of chain.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Whistle shows areas of medium wear and has a handsome patina; whistle whirs and makes sound when blown but noise level is not to full capacity.
