ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce circa World War I United States Army trench siren whistle. It is in good working order, and has its original chain.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in length and 1-1/16" in diameter; chain is about 15-1/2" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Blackened brass, steel.

ATTACHMENT:

Chain with hook and loop.

MARKINGS:

None.
