WWI US Air Service Enlisted Pilot Souvenir Pillow Case

This is a World War I United States Air Service enlisted pilot souvenir pillowcase wrapped in plastic and mounted on black foam board. The case is diamond-shaped in olive green and has a border that echoes the scalloped border of the main case. It reads U.S. ARMY AVIATION in gold embroidery with a winged propeller at center.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 25" square (framed).

Wool case embroidered in cotton/silk thread, cellophane, foam board.
