WWI UK Service & Victory Medal Engraved to Captain E. M. Cartmer

This is a World War I United Kingdom Service medal and Victory medal mounted together and engraved to Captain E. M. Cartmer. The Service medal shows the bust of King George V on the front and reads GEORGIUS V BRITT. OMN: REX ET IND: IMP:. The reverse of the medal shows a man on horseback riding over a battlefield and reads 1914 191The Victory medal shows winged Victory on the front and reads THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILISATION 1914-1919 on reverse.

Circa World War I.

3" height and 2-3/4" width

Bronze and gold-plated brass with silk ribbons.

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

CAPT. E. M. CARTMER engraved on bottom edge of each medal.
