WWI Era Miniature UK Distinguished Service Order Medal

This is a World War I era Distinguished Service Order medal from the United Kingdom, a decoration given to members of the armed forces who display highly commendable behavior, particularly during combat. The medal is a white enameled cross with the Imperial crown in brass at center wreathed by laurel. The reverse shows the royal cypher of George V (GvR).

Circa World War I.

1-1/16" height and 3/4" width.

Brass, enamel.

Suspension loop with bracelet clasp.
