This is a World War I "trench art" shell decorated with the green wildcat for the United States Army 306th Sanitation Train, 81st Division. The letters "OCL" encircle the wildcat, and stand for the motto "Obedience, Courage, Loyalty". The shell is 75 millimeters and is French in origin.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 13-3/4" in height and 3-3/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass, painted detail.
ATTACHMENT:None.
