ARTIFACT: WWI Canadian Expeditionary Forces (CEF) 51st Edmonton Battalion cap badge. The cap badge is the shape of a maple leaf with a royal crown at the top center and the badge features the number "51" and reads: "OVERSEAS", above a scroll reads: "EDMONTON" and below: "CANADA" in raised lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" x 1-6/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped bronze

ATTACHMENT: Two loops/lugs, cotter pin

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX10 LFEX9/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The cap badge shows minor to moderate wear and verdigris, handsome patina, overall very fine condition.
