ARTIFACT: This is a World War I collar badge for the 218th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, a regiment also known as the Edmonton Irish Guards. The badge reads 218 CANADA and shows two shamrocks.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 7/8" in height and 2" wide.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops with bobby pin.

MARKINGS: JACKSON BROS.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Badge shows light wear and a handsome tarnish.
