This is a World War I officer's collar badge for the 85th Infantry Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, the regiment also known as the Nova Scotia Highlanders. The badge reads CANADA NOVA SCOTIA HIGHLANDERS 85 SIOL NA FEAR FEARAIL (the breed of manly men).
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:3/4" in height and 2" wide.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two loops with bobby pin.
