This is a World War I 10 karat gold "Son-In-Service" pin, a pin given to families who had a son serving in the war. The pin shows one blue star at the center of a white rectangle bordered by red.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1/4" height and 1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold and enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:10K and 5262 or 2929(?).

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The pin shows very little wear.
